When Proenza Schouler and Target collaborated, Opening Ceremony had the collection available for New Yorkers to purchase. My friend and I went and I still wear the pieces I bought, including this denim pencil skirt. I love the idea of taking a professional silhouette and putting it in a casual fabric for the perfect balance between work and play.

This is a go-to outfit when nothing in my closet is working for me. The top is incredibly comfortable and it always looks the same no matter how many times I’ve worn it.
What’s the outfit that never let’s you down?
Have a great weekend!
<Top: Mango, Jeans: Levi’s, Scarf: Old Navy, Jacket: H&M, Sandals: Miss Trish of Capri for Target, Bag: Rebecca Minkoff>
As I’ve said before, this shirt has been very versatile!

There’s a lot to like about this dress: it’s comfortable, it has a built in belt and the bottom half reminds me of a cupcake. Paired with pearls, a side pony tail, big sunglasses and a gold necklace with brooches it’s girly delight.

Sparkles can be difficult to pull off at work. However, if they’re mixed with office friendly button downs and denim trousers, it’s much more day friendly.

This outfit encompasses a few of my favorite things:
1. Pencil Skirt
2. Wedges with flowers on them
3. Stripe Blazer
4. Big Earrings
The pink shirt from Banana Republic is proving to be quite versatile and perfect for the kind of weather we’re having. Plus it adds a bright pop against the blue. There are stripes in the jacket and stripes in the skirt but since the skirt’s stripes are so micro, they don’t fight.

I love items that can be dressed up or dressed down depending on what they’re accessorized with. Button down shirts are a big time favorite of mine for this reason. They make me feel pulled together and yet they’re so easy to wear. The military influenced trend isn’t over yet (cargo double pockets on the shirt) and I think the motocross detailing on the jeans makes them more fun.
