“So, according to tumblr, there is only one thing out of like fifty that you have yet to do to make it to the “every girl’s dream guy” list:
Play my favorite song outside of my window
I know that the window for my room at college doesn’t actually open, and the window in my room at home is on the second floor and isn’t near any sort of trees, but I think we can make this happen”
– my 19 year old cousin to her boyfriend
aka the most fantastic thing I read on Wednesday
We spent the weekend in Upstate New York. The weather was great, and we were able to pick apples, taste wines, hike and relax at the Renwick Clifton House. For anyone looking to escape the city, New Paltz is a great option only an hour away.
It’s pretty clear everyone has said a resounding ‘yes!” to plaid in the past couple years. I’m just starting to see other patterns hold their own in the stores but, there are plenty of plaids still in my closet. I love how the pattern can be anything- dark, light, monochromatic, dressy, heritage or casual. I liked the combination of the flouncy skirt, plaid, leopard flats and pearls for a different kind of work outfit, sometimes that’s exactly what you need on a Monday.
